As an Analytics Engineer, you will build the core of Emma Sleep's
- making platform, using a combination of dbt and Redshift, taking complete ownership of your developments.
What you will do:
- Own the T in ELT together with the rest of the Analytics Engineering team.
- Make data modeling decisions based on Kimball’s design principles.
- Create new analytical capabilities by continuously adding new data points to the data warehouse core model.
- Work in a
- paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security.
- Implement proactive data monitoring and alerting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders from upstream and downstream data teams.
- Foster a collaborative and
- performing team culture.
Who we're looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Analytics Engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and dbt.
- Sufficient Python coding skills.
- Very strong understanding of Kimball modeling principles and the ability to advocate for them.
- Analytical and
- solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and proactively drive projects from idea to production.
