Senior Android Developer

B2B contract - hourly rate

Based in Porto - Hybrid working model

We’re looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help build and enhance advanced Android features, including OCR/ICR-driven components within mission‑critical applications.

Engineers with strong Android/Kotlin expertise and hands‑on experience with:

OCR technologies (essential)

ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) experience - a strong plus

Requirements:

5+ years of experience building Android applications in production using Kotlin

Strong experience with OCR and/or ICR implementations

Solid understanding of the Android application lifecycle

Experience integrating third‑party libraries into Android apps

Comfortable working with Git , CI/CD pipelines ( Jenkins , Git
Hub Actions ), and issue‑tracking tools like JIRA

Clear communicator and a collaborative team player

Bonus: Experience working in international, cross‑functional teams
