The mobile engineering team at Qonto currently has over 130 highly skilled engineers, distributed in
- functional teams from all over the world, working closely to shape the best business finance solution app.

As an Android Engineer at Qonto, you will:

• Craft

  Work on critical architectural and UI features that will directly impact our end users.

  Work closely with backend teams, designers, and product managers to create a unified vision.

  - time synchronization issues and spearhead new initiatives.

  Maintain an exceptional level of quality by implementing continuous refactoring and unit testing to constantly improve the codebase.

Our app is 100% written in Kotlin and based on MVVM & Clean architecture using the Coordinator pattern, Coroutines, and Flows. We have initiated challenging projects such as modularization, reducing build time, and migrating towards Jetpack Compose. Our CI includes Gitlab, Firebase, Test Lab, and Sonar.

We place a high emphasis on tech quality:

using Clean Code, SOLID principles, investing effort in tests (14, 000 unit tests and 1, 400 UI tests), and following a component approach using our design system.

What you could work on:

As part of our engineering department, you will work within one of our
- functional teams, each handling part of our product. Examples include:

  Build and sell cards that are top of wallet for all company expenses.

  Gain market share on larger SMEs with efficient finance management starting in France.
• Invoices:
  
  Streamline AR and AP workflows for businesses, enhancing cash flow management.

  Expand market share on larger SMEs with efficient finance management.

  Craft the future of user experience at scale through new patterns and components.

Your future Head of:

Your Head of will be either Guillaume or Sylvain, who are in charge of the Mobile team. Their backgrounds include extensive experience in software engineering, mobile practices, and leadership roles. They work to streamline team operations, ensure top product quality, and foster team growth.
