Responsibilities
- Prepare and validate various project‑specific system solution documentation, including architectures based on customer requirements, and evaluate and validate effort estimations.
- Be part of a Remote Engineering Centre supporting the development and execution of microgrid control projects worldwide, executing tasks such as project consultancy and guidance, configuration of control systems, configuration of HMI systems, training, and more.
- Actively participate in project kick‑off meetings and ensure alignment for project delivery by engaging with internal partners such as sales teams, competence centres, regional engineering teams, and project management teams to secure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and work, following up and expediting as necessary.
- Work closely with the product PLM and sales teams to identify and incorporate key insights and strategies for successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- More than 5 years of professional experience in implementing and leading projects involving automation systems and microgrid systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of substation automation and microgrid applications to support project stages from initial order intake to on‑site delivery.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, completing tasks efficiently and independently with high accuracy in time‑sensitive environments.
- Experience with Siemens configuration tools like SICAM PAS, SCC, Toolbox, Device Manager, DIGSI, or equivalent market solutions.
- Knowledge of various serial and Ethernet‑based protocols used in Substation Automation Systems, including networking topologies (Ring, HSR, PRP, etc. ).
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Fast learner, capable of working independently or as a great team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and good presentation skills, with experience in delivering project status updates.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10‑20% expected).
- Proficiency in English is a must; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
