Senior Audit Penetration Tester Lisboa

Overview

Ready to make an impact? Tahles S21sec is looking for a Penetration Tester to join our Offensive Security team, reporting to our offices in Porto or Lisboa (remote work is applicable).

You will join Thales S21sec's Penetration Testing Team, performing security testing according to your skills and specialization level. Within the team, we have expertise in nearly every discipline of offensive security from application and infrastructure testing, to red and purple team exercises.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security tests on networks and applications.
• Perform security tests on networks, cloud infrastructure,
  - based applications, APIs or mobile applications. Design the test approach and select tools to assess and break into protected applications and networks, probing for vulnerabilities. Stay
  -
  - date with the latest
  - hacking methods and continuously evaluate new penetration testing tools.
• Write security assessment reports: document findings, prepare reports, discuss solutions with the customer’s IT teams and management, and provide feedback and verification after security fixes.
• Perform incident response and forensic analysis as part of engagements.

Role and Collaboration

Your routine involves receiving project tasking, identifying requirements from bidding documents, preparing engagements, and interfacing with the customer from start to finish to deliver outcomes within the agreed time and cost. You will not be alone on projects and will have a team to support you when needed, while also contributing to a collaborative approach and shared
- solving.

Some projects may require site work at customer premises (mostly Lisboa & Porto). This is expected to be under 15% of work time.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Ability to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously while balancing
  - term projects with urgent operational needs.
• Curiosity to drive offensive tradecraft development and execution to simulate
  - world attack scenarios.
• Formal education in Computer Science is not required to become a pentester; a strong education is valued but not mandatory.
• Practical experience is required: at least 3 years of experience.
• Security certifications are important for some customers; list your certifications in your application.
