We are currently looking for an Io
T Test Automation Engineer to join an exciting project focused on smart device ecosystems. Location: Portugal (Remote)Start Date: ASAPKey Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Io
T devices and embedded systems. Validate connectivity, data flow, and functionality between Io
T devices, gateways, and cloud services. Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and define appropriate testing strategies. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing using automation tools. Contribute to the continuous improvement of test frameworks and pipelines. Support manual testing efforts when necessary for edge cases or new hardware. Document test results and report bugs with clarity and precision. Must-Have Skills5+ years of experience in test automation, preferably with Io
T or embedded systems. Strong programming/scripting experience in Java. Hands-on experience with Selenium , Cucumber , or similar tools. Familiarity with testing Io
T protocols such as MQTT, Co
AP, or HTTP. Experience in validating hardware/software integrations. Basic understanding of Docker for test environment setup. Familiar with CI/CD practices and tools (e. g. , Jenkins, Git). Solid
