Job Description

We expect the Senior Automation QA Engineer to:

• Design and implement
  - layer test automation strategies
• Develop and maintain effective testing frameworks
• Share best practices and approaches with the project team
• Evaluate, monitor, and report to key stakeholders - business and development leads
• Manage the team and maintain high morale

Qualifications

Must-have skills:

• Proactive attitude to
  - solving and leading by example
• Excellent communication skills: ability to articulate progress, problems, and plans to diverse audiences, from engineers to stakeholders
• Hands-on knowledge of modern testing methodologies, concepts, and practices; capable of guiding
  - making
• At least 4+ years of experience in roles such as Senior QA Automation Engineer, Lead QA Engineer, Test Automation Lead, or Test Architect
• Solid experience with OOP, build and packaging tools (Maven, Gradle), Spring, JUnit/Test
  NG, API testing tools, and at least one CI system (Team
  City, Jenkins, etc. )
• Proven track record of delivering test automation solutions from scratch, independently and as a team leader
• Experience with Agile practices and ceremonies, or relevant certification

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience in test performance optimization
• Fin
  Tech testing or trading background – valuable for Devexperts' focus area
