Senior Axway MFT (Managed File Transfer)

Location: Lisbon

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 times a week in Lisbon)

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract

Languages Required: Fluent English; French is an advantage.

Eligibility: Candidates must be in Portugal and possess a valid work permit for Portugal.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Expert in Axway MFT to join a strategic modernization project of a Managed File Transfer (MFT) ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity to work with Axway Amplify Suite (CFT, Secure Transport, Flow Manager, Sentinel) in a challenging environment where security, performance, and automation are top priorities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments.
• Proven expertise in Axway solutions: CFT, Secure Transport, Flow Manager, Sentinel.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/AIX and Windows environments, secure protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, Pe
  SIT, S3, etc. ).
• Experience with PKI, certificates, networking, and security concepts.
• Familiarity with file formats (ASCII, EBCDIC, UTF-8).
• Fluent English; French is an advantage.
• Design, configure, and implement secure file transfer flows using Axway Amplify solutions.
• Lead the full integration cycle—from requirements analysis to production deployment.
• Optimize internal processes and request management tools (JIRA, Service
  Now) with clear, detailed documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to teams, ensuring best practices, security, and high performance.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and ensure high availability of MFT services.
