Overview
Senior BI/Data Engineer – Remote at Match Profiler. Location: Beja, Beja, Portugal (Remote). Responsibilities- Design, model, and optimize data architectures for
- scale data platforms. - Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python. - Build and optimize data models (dimensional modeling, 3NF, data vault) and manage data warehousing on Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift. - Implement data quality frameworks and orchestration (Airflow, dbt). - Collaborate with stakeholders, provide clear communication, and uphold engineering best practices (version control, code reviews). Qualifications- Advanced SQL with data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning. - Data modeling expertise (dimensional modeling, 3NF, data vault). - Proficiency in Python (ETL/ELT pipelines, automation). - Experience with modern data warehousing platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift. - ETL/ELT design and optimization for
- scale data pipelines. - Data Lake architectures and
- scale data solutions. - Data visualization tools: Looker, Tableau (or similar). - Data quality frameworks & orchestration tools (e.
