Senior B/E Java Lisboa

Join to apply for the Senior B/E Java role at Irium Portugal. We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to join our team in Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra with a hybrid model.

Requirements

• Java, Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Helm, Elasticsearch, REST APIs, SQL (Postgre
  SQL), Docker.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java and strong hands‑on experience with Spring Boot.
• Proven experience with GCP and related services.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes and deployment tools like Helm.
• Hands‑on experience with Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, optimization).
• Strong experience in API design and RESTful services.
• Proficiency in SQL databases, especially Postgre
  SQL.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
• Location: Lisbon, Braga, Coimbra; hybrid model.
