Senior Back End Developer Braga

We are looking for a SENIOR BACK END DEVELOPER with strong expertise to join our engineering team. This role is critical to the development and enhancement of our core data processing infrastructure that powers our geospatial intelligence platform.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable APIs and backend services for processing, storing, and retrieving geospatial data.
• Develop efficient algorithms for
  - based queries, transformations, and analysis.
• Optimize database schemas and queries for
  - performance geospatial data operations.
• Build services to validate and standardize various geospatial data formats.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing.
• Research and experiment with new technologies for geospatial data processing.

Job requirements

• A bachelor-'s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation.
• Strong experience with Postgre
  SQL and familiarity with Apache technologies.
• Solid knowledge of Big Data systems and ETL processing.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with following languages Go
  Lang and/or C++.
