We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node. js OR Java (Spring/Spring Boot).
• Build and integrate robust RESTful APIs in alignment with business needs.
• Develop
  - based architectures for
  - performance systems.
• Ensure code quality through best practices in testing, versioning, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with
  - functional teams in a dynamic,
  - paced environment.
• Proactively identify technical improvements and contribute to system evolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development using Node. js or Java (Spring/Spring Boot).
• Willingness to learn or transition into Node. js if coming from a Java background.
• Mandatory experience in the banking sector (projects or clients).
• Strong expertise in REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of system design, scalability, and secure integration patterns.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Availability to work 3 days per week
  - site in Lisbon, office located next to Anjos Metro station.
