About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer who can work independently, demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, and has proven leadership abilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and robust backend services using Java within a microservices architecture.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments via Kubernetes.
• Integrate and manage API Gateways (e. g. , Kong) to ensure secure and efficient API communication.
• Participate in defining and evolving system architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve system performance, reliability, and incident response.
• Write clean, maintainable, and
  - documented code following industry standards and team practices.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and
  - functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Work with Oracle databases and Oracle SOA Suite for integration with existing enterprise systems, when applicable.

What we are looking for:

• Extensive experience in developing and managing microservices architectures using Java.
• Proficiency with containerized infrastructures, especially Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge and
  - on experience with API Gateways.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with SOA architectures and Oracle SOA Suite.
• Experience with other ESB tools, Oracle Database, and SRE practices including Terraform and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway or similar tools.
• Experience with IAM solutions like Keycloak.
• Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
• Background in performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams, and clients.
• Strong teamwork skills along with autonomy.
• Motivation for international projects, with willingness to travel if required.
• Collaborative mindset.
