Senior Backend Engineer – Java

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain
  - performance, scalable backend applications using Java.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and define software requirements.
• Implement and maintain APIs, microservices, and other server‑side components.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide ongoing support.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Skills and Experiences

• Good communication.
• Hands‑on experience with Java and Springboot/Quarkus.
• Experience working with cloud platform backends such as Azure and AWS leveraging Web.
• Desirable knowledge in Domain‑Driven design, event sourcing, and automated testing.
• Experience with build and automation tools like Azure Dev
  Ops, Docker, Gradle, Jenkins, and Git.
• Professional experience with SQL and No
  SQL databases (Mongo
  DB, Cosmos
  DB, Oracle, Postgre
  SQL).
• Familiar with agile methodology.
• Good communication and facilitation skills.
• English skills, both written and spoken.
