Our client is a leading commercial real estate advisory and service provider for large institutional investors, global corporations, and various owners and occupiers.

Their mission is to simplify the process of leasing, buying, or selling properties across multiple sectors, including retail, office, multifamily, industrial, student housing, and hospitality.

The team is committed to guiding clients through the real estate process, ensuring it is rewarding for everyone involved. In this role, you will analyze the current legacy Commercial Real Estate (CRE) ratings platform, documenting existing architecture, workflows, and issues.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand priorities and capture both business and technical requirements. You will design and deliver enhancements to the ratings system, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance. Conduct a holistic

- end (E2E) review of the platform, including performance, security, code quality, and data architecture.

Propose and design the
- state architecture, incorporating best practices and a modernization roadmap tailored to business needs. Work alongside
- functional teams (product, QA, data, infrastructure) to ensure alignment and successful delivery of platform goals. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions as needed.

Qualifications include having 5+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar roles within enterprise technology environments. Expertise in software architecture, SDLC, and legacy system modernization is essential. Experience reviewing and modernizing legacy systems built with C#, ASP. NET, and. NET frameworks is required.

The candidate should have proven ability in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and technical documentation, along with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and
- solving skills. A track record of delivering enhancements to
- critical platforms and excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences are necessary. Comfort working independently and in distributed teams, familiarity with legacy and modern technology stacks, knowledge of cloud migration, microservices, and API-driven architectures are also important.

Prior experience with CRE, financial ratings, or property management platforms is a plus. Experience using AI tools daily to enhance productivity is a must. Our client’s team fully embraces AI in their workflows and expects new team members to share this mindset. Foundational coding skills are essential, but the ability to combine technical expertise with AI to accelerate delivery and solve complex problems smarter sets candidates apart.
