SQL with modern developer workflows, performance optimizations, and seamless scaling.

What you’ll do

• Design, implement, and deploy a websocket server that allows customers to connect to Prisma Postgres from WASM environments where TCP connections are unavailable.
• Work closely with the ORM team to define the server protocol for the client adapter.
• Choose and deploy a globally distributed configuration store (e. g. , etcd, rqlite) for encrypted authentication secrets that enable global routing for Prisma Postgres.
• Collaborate with an infra engineer to improve automation of bare‑metal servers, reducing provisioning time of new servers.
• Troubleshoot and fix connectivity issues that customers experience sporadically.

Ideal candidate profile

• 8+ years of experience in agile software engineering teams delivering robust web applications using Type
  Script, Node. js, and Golang.
• Experience building and scaling distributed systems; bare‑metal server experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/No
  SQL databases and familiarity with cloud services, Graph
  QL/REST APIs.
• High standards for quality, balancing pragmatism, purpose, and agency; ownership mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Structured problem‑solving mindset; methodical decision making; effective planning and execution.
