Job Summary
Keyrus is looking for a Data Architect / Data Vault Specialist to join our global Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will design and deliver scalable, cloud‑native data solutions using Data Vault 2. 0, Databricks, dbt, and Snowflake, among other modern data stack tools. You will lead end‑to‑end data architecture initiatives – spanning data modeling, ELT/ETL design, data platform migration, and real‑time data integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Data Vault 2. 0 data models for large‑scale data platforms.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Databricks, and other modern data tools.
- Work with Snowflake, Oracle, Postgre
SQL, and MS SQL Server to build scalable, cloud‑based data solutions. - Lead data migration and integration projects across diverse data sources.
- Provide strategic consulting on data architecture, governance, and best practices.
- Implement real‑time data processing using Kafka, Databricks, and other cloud‑native technologies.
- Conduct internal and external training and coaching on BI and data modeling methodologies.
Requirements for the role
- 5+ years of proven experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Architecture.
- Deep expertise in Data Vault 2. 0 and experience delivering Data Vault‑centric projects at scale.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools such as dbt or Pentaho.
- Hands‑on experience with Databricks and modern data stack technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with data governance, GDPR compliance, and data privacy policies.
- Certified Data Vault 2. 0 Practitioner (CDVP2) or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and project management skills.
- German is a plus.
- Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal.
