Senior BI/Data Engineer – Remote

We are looking for a Senior BI/Data Engineer for a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize
  - scale data pipelines using SQL, Python, and modern data warehousing platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift).
• Build data models (dimensional modeling, 3NF, data vault) and implement ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop data lake architectures and scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data quality and governance using data quality frameworks and orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt).
• Collaborate with analytics and visualization teams using Looker, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Follow engineering best practices: version control, code reviews, and development standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL (data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning).
• Data modeling expertise (dimensional modeling, 3NF, data vault).
• Proficiency in Python (ETL/ELT pipelines, automation).
• Modern Data Warehousing platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.
• ETL/ELT design and optimization for
  - scale data pipelines.
• Data Lake architectures and
  - scale data solutions.
• Data visualization tools: Looker, Tableau (or similar).
• Data quality frameworks & orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt).
• Engineering best practices: version control, code reviews, development standards.
