Senior Cloud Architect Braga

Overview

Senior Cloud Architect role at Irium Portugal. This position is for an international company and requires experience in cloud architecture and SAP-related work.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud architecture design and implementation guidance in a global team environment.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
• Participate in
  - sales activities and
  - facing engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor-'s / Master-'s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or Business Administration from an accredited university.
• High proficiency in customer communications and presentations.
• High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions; good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies).
• Understanding of operational aspects (Application or Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
• Understanding of capabilities of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP).
• Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects; willingness to undertake
  - related travel on short notice.
• Cloud Associate or Solution Architect certifications are preferred (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Work Experience

• 5+ years of
  - facing SAP Consulting experience.
• 5+ years of solution design, enterprise architecture, and/or SAP implementation.
• Experience in a
  - facing
  - sales role is an advantage.
• Experience with Iaa
  S Providers (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP) and data centers is a big advantage.
• SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills would be very helpful but not mandatory.
