What you’ll do / Your day to day
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our IT team and help build secure, scalable, and
- performing cloud solutions. You will collaborate with
- functional teams, lead technical initiatives, and promote engineering best practices.
What we’re looking for / Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in AWS cloud architecture and development, using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud
Formation). - Strong experience in Python backend development, applying best practices (linters, inheritance, frameworks).
- At least 6 years of experience with Configuration Management tools (e. g. , Puppet).
- Solid background in Windows and Linux systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, EC2, Jenkins, etc.
- Excellent understanding of REST, Graph
QL, and microservices architectures. - Deep knowledge of privacy and security standards (AWS Security Best Practices, CIS).
- Strong grasp of OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25, with proven experience implementing remediation strategies.
- Experience integrating secure development practices into the SDLC (SSDLC).
- Understanding of cloud connectivity (VPC peering, VPNs, hybrid cloud setups).
- Ability to stay current with security and technical trends and evolve platforms accordingly.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
- Experience leading teams and working on platform engineering is a plus.
- Frontend experience and AWS Solution Architect Associate certification are optional but valued.
