Technical Skills:
• Degree in Computer Engineering or Similar.
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services at least 3 or 4 years.
• Azure certifications.
• Strong knowledge of Azure virtual networks, VPN, subnetting, network peering, and network security groups (NSGs).
• Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, and Power
Shell scripting.
• Experience with Azure Defender for Cloud and Log Analytics for monitoring and security.
• Understanding of Azure monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher.
• Knowledge of Azure Policies and Initiatives for resource compliance and governance.
• Experience with configuring and managing routing tables for network traffic management.
• Proficient in configuring Azure Application Gateway, including listeners, backend pools, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Azure Infrastructure Management:
• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure virtual networks, subnets, network peering, and network security groups (NSGs).
• Configure and manage routing tables to manage network traffic and ensure optimal path selection.
• Maintain and optimize Azure resources, including compute, storage, and databases.
- Network Security & Monitoring:
• Implement and manage Azure network security measures, such as firewalls, security groups, and threat detection with Azure Defender for Cloud.
• Configure and monitor network security groups (NSGs) to control the inbound and outbound traffic to Azure VMs and services.
• Monitor network performance and security, and troubleshoot
- related issues using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools.
- Application Gateway:
• Configure and manage Azure Application Gateway, including listeners, backend pools, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) settings.
- Architecture Design:
• Assist in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud architecture solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to develop and improve architecture frameworks and standards.
- Azure Policies & Initiatives:
• Create and manage Azure Policies and Initiatives to ensure compliance and governance across the Azure environment.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce policies to manage resources effectively and ensure they comply with organizational standards and requirements.
- Automation & Scripting:
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate cloud infrastructure deployment, configuration, and management.
• Use Azure CLI, Power
Shell, and ARM templates for automated workflows.
- Compliance & Best Practices:
• Ensure Azure deployments and operations comply with organizational security policies and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features, services, and industry best practices for cloud architecture and network security.
- Documentation & Reporting:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, cloud architecture designs, operational procedures, and policy implementations.
• Provide regular reports on cloud service usage, performance, and security metrics.
