Cloud Engineer - 12 Month B2B Contract - Consultancy - Fully Remote

We’re partnering with a leading consultancy in Portugal to hire multiple Cloud Engineers for a major 12 month AWS migration programme. This is a fully remote B2B contract, but candidates must be based in Portugal.

? What You’ll Be Working On

You’ll join a specialist engineering team responsible for migrating critical services from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your

- day will involve:

• Migrating production workloads from GCP to AWS
• Designing, deploying, and scaling EKS clusters
• Managing infrastructure via Terraform
• Building & maintaining Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
• Creating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in Git
  Hub Actions
• Troubleshooting cloud, Kubernetes, and network issues
• Ensuring reliability, security, and performance across the new AWS estate
• Collaborating closely with architects, platform, and development teams

? What We’re Looking For

You should have strong
- world experience with:

• Hands-on GCP → AWS migration work
• AWS (EKS, VPC, networking, IAM, EC2, load balancers)
• Kubernetes engineering & operations
• Terraform (Ia
  C at production scale)
• Helm (chart authoring & management)
• Git
  Hub Actions (CI/CD automation)
• Troubleshooting distributed systems and Kubernetes workloads
