Job Description

Miniclip is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering Team in one of our studios across Lisbon, Amsterdam, and London. We seek a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code, extensive experience with AWS services, Kubernetes, Linux system administration, and modern infrastructure automation tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, as well as streamlining Dev
Ops processes.

This is a
- time, permanent, hybrid position.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
• Ensure
  - tolerant, scalable, and disaster recovery of cloud solutions.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for
  - efficiency and performance.

Kubernetes & Containerisation

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable containerised workloads.
• Automate Kubernetes cluster management with Helm charts and Git
  Ops tools like Argo
  CD.
• Migrate legacy applications to modern/containerised solutions.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C)

• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and AWS Cloud
  Formation.
• Develop and maintain Chef cookbooks for configuration management across Linux servers.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with
  - functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and other teams.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• 5+ years of expertise in using AWS, such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, Cloud
  Formation, and Cloud
  Front.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux.
• 2+ years of experience in AWS containerised services, such as ECS, EKS, Fargate, and containerised tools like Docker, Helm, Argo
  CD.
• 3+ years in network knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Highly proficient in
  -
  - code tools such as Terraform and Cloud
  Formation.
• Strong background in software development, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Ruby.
