The Role: Sr Cloud Network Engineer

We are searching a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Network Engineer with a strong background in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is sought to design, implement, and manage secure and scalable network solutions for clients.

This role will involve working with traditional networking principles alongside
- specific networking services and security solutions. This professional will be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity between clients'
- premises data centers and their public cloud environments, with a focus on business continuity and high availability. And this role will also play a key role in maintaining robust network security using Next-Generation firewalls and dynamic routing protocols like BGP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement and optimize WAN connectivity between client data centers and public cloud environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP and other dynamic routing protocols to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
• Implement and manage highly available and resilient network deployments to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network security devices, specifically focusing on Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, Fortigate, and Checkpoint.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, including access controls, encryption, and intrusion prevention.
• Proactively monitor network performance, identify and address bottlenecks, and recommend optimization strategies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with clients, internal teams (including PS and support teams), and cloud providers to ensure seamless network operations and alignment with security standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or architecture, with a focus on cloud environments.
• Extensive experience with networking concepts and protocols, including LANs, WANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP.
• Demonstrated experience with public cloud networking services in AWS, and Azure (e. g. , VPCs, Virtual Networks, VPNs, Direct Connect, Cloud Interconnect). With GCP highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge and
  - on experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, including configuration, troubleshooting, and policy management.
• Experience implementing and managing network security controls and best practices.
• Understanding of Business Continuity and High Availability principles in network design.
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols and their implementation in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication,
  - solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Fortigate and Checkpoint firewalls is highly desirable.
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e. g. , Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
• Relevant cloud or security certifications (e. g. , AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer).
• Experience working for an MSP.
• Experience with network monitoring and logging tools.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
