What are we looking for?

We're looking for a talented hands‑on software architect to join our R&D Group and contribute to the development of edge software security solutions.

How will you make an impact?

• Work within a cut architecture group that supports and provides its services to R&D teams in all Checkmarx product units
• Partner with our engineering leaders in the development of a comprehensive architecture strategy that supports business objectives
• Provide detailed technical specifications and define architectural approaches
• Develop architectural POCs, research technical innovations, and evaluate new technologies
• Provide technical and methodology guidance to the teams, communicate implementation alternatives and offs
• Design and implement improvements to our existing products

Requirements

What is needed to succeed?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture design
• Strong understanding of native applications, microservices, and oriented architectures
• Hands‑on experience with modern software development methodologies and tools such as Agile, Dev
  Ops, CI/CD, and Git
• Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Strong communication skills with the ability to converse with technical and technical audiences, including level stakeholders or clients
• Proven ability to analyze complex systems and infrastructures, evaluate them, and suggest optimal solutions
• Passionate about designing and building software product architecture
• Eager to own code in the highest quality and security level, including design reviews and code reviews
