We are looking for a Cobol Developer for a hybrid project based in Lisbon.

Responsibilities:

• Software development using Cobol language.
• Perform development work with efficient and quality deliverables.
• Understand requirements and convert them into Cobol programs.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Technical Experts to deliver quality products.
• Support various testing phases, including User Acceptance Testing, and provide client support during these phases.
• Strictly adhere to client standards, processes, quality, and security protocols.
• Create test documents and execute test cases.
• Support junior team members in solving technical issues and transfer knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in the IT industry.
• Experience in Cobol development and Mainframe environments.
• Experience using CICS and DB2.
• Experience in the banking sector.
• Self-contained,
  - starter with excellent development skills.
• Over 5 years of experience in program unit testing and system integration testing.
• Over 5 years of experience in system analysis and design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
