Senior Construction Project Manager – Porto

To support our expansion in Portugal, we are looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Porto team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire construction process and quality of the works.
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers involved in the construction process.
• Represent the company in all matters related to technical and organizational issues arising from
  -
  - day activities of the work.
• Regularly report progress and status of the works to higher management.
• Identify and manage issues/risks arising during project implementation.
• Manage resources and direct the project to full completion.
• Cooperate and communicate with internal and external project stakeholders.
• Come up with ideas and options to address project issues/challenges.
• Manage budgets, including estimating forecasts.
• Evaluate and ensure technical aspects of project development comply with standards and policies.
• Review execution design throughout the construction process in line with technical standards and ensure practical compliance.
• Lead construction meetings on site.
• Prepare and update cost estimate maps.
• Handle procurement and award of works.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Civil Engineering and previous experience in construction management.
• Experience in the logistics real estate sector is a plus.
• Additional construction certificates and BREEAM knowledge considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction management software (design, budget, scheduling, etc. ).
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to align with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel within Portugal.
• Valid driving licence.
