Senior Consultant Taxes (M/F) | Maia 6Months

We are looking for a Senior Consultant Taxes (M / F) for a prestigious client in Maia!

Tasks :

1. Proactively analyze potential problems and propose/assess new solutions and their implementation;
2. Manage and define process improvements, establishing new working processes within the systems area to ensure efficiency and excellence;
3. Analyze reconciliations for compliance, ensuring logical consistency and comparison with VAT account amounts;
4. Ensure accounts are cleared and open items are handled properly and promptly;
5. Support the team on compliance topics and ensure VAT requirements are met;
6. Supervise the work of the team;
7. Ensure that SLAs are met with business partners.

Requirements :

• Broad and deep conceptual and practical knowledge of their own functional area;
• Advanced knowledge of European VAT and Intrastat requirements;
• Solid knowledge in SAP;
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power
  Point), with advanced skills in Excel;
• Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills;
• Ability to communicate effectively in English in a business setting;
• Ability to work in a
  - paced environment;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to provide clear performance frameworks for direct reports;
• University degree in Tax, Legal, Accounting, or related fields;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
