Job Description: Cyber Security Engineer at Maersk

This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working from anywhere in Portugal, with visits to our offices in Porto or Lisbon approximately once every 6 weeks.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage security tools and capabilities based on risk assessments as part of Frontline Ops (Cyber Protect).
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Trend Micro security products including Apex One, Deep Security, Cloud One, and Vision One/XDR.
• Document processes related to cybersecurity tooling and support integration of security controls across global IT platforms.
• Maintain endpoint security capabilities, investigate incidents, and develop security documentation and reports.
• Support security audits, incident responses, and
  - incident reviews.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with Trend Micro products (Apex One, Deep Security, Cloud One, Vision One/XDR).
• Strong understanding of malware analysis, intrusion detection, and incident response.
• Experience with endpoint, server, and cloud security, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Networking knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and security protocol understanding.
• Security certifications such as Comp
  TIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are preferred.
• Scripting knowledge (Power
  Shell, Python) and Trend Micro Certified Professional credentials are advantageous.
