We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Lisbon!

The role should be based at the office in the Carnaxide area (up to 8 days per month remotely), with the first month fully
- site.

Key responsibilities:

1. Power BI Development
2. Develop and design interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in Power BI, intended for both desktop and mobile.
3. Apply optimized DAX measures and data modeling techniques for performance.
4. Create automated refresh schedules and manage data gateways.

Analysis & Insights

1. Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and performance metrics.
2. Translate findings into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
3. Provide scenario analysis and forecasting as necessary.

Stakeholder Collaboration

1. Work closely with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and KPIs.
2. Present results clearly and concisely to both technical and
   - technical stakeholders.
3. Handle
   - hoc requests for reports and ensure timely delivery.

Support Data Engineering

1. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and data engineers, translating reporting requirements into technical specifications.
2. Coordinate data engineering activities with business priorities, providing datasets, pipelines, and models as scheduled.
3. Define acceptance criteria, verify deliverables, and provide feedback to ensure solutions meet requirements.
4. Maintain a project roadmap for data work, balancing
   - term reporting needs with
   - term data infrastructure development.
5. Knowledge of Agile practices (Scrum and/or Kanban) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Core Tools & Technologies

• Expert-level skills in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power
  Query, report design).
• Knowledge of performance tuning in Power BI.
• Proficient in SQL querying of relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud data sources (e. g. , Azure, AWS, Google Big
  Query).
• Experience with Copilot for Power BI is a plus.

Data Management & Modeling

• Knowledge of star and snowflake schemas.
• Understanding of ETL processes.

Analytics & Reporting

• Expertise in KPI definition, trend analysis, and business performance measurement.

Other Tools

• Experience with version control and CI tools (Git, pipelines) is a plus.
• Experience with R or Python for advanced analytics is an asset.
