Senior Data Engineer – Hybrid (Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Build and orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer.
• Ensure data quality, performance and security across relational databases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support data‑driven initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to Generative AI foundations and Large Language Models (LLMs) – at least 6 months of foundational knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
• Good communication, team spirit, proactivity and time management.
