Location: Lisbon, Portugal / Candidates for this position must already be located in Portugal

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust data pipelines to facilitate the transfer of data between production and
  - production environments
• Apply data masking, anonymization, and other confidentiality rules during data transfers to ensure compliance and privacy
• Build and maintain data pipelines for automated data backup and recovery processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data pipeline implementation
• Solid experience working with Lakehouse architectures
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark
• In-depth understanding of AWS and its data services
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Fluency in both Portuguese and English
