About the Project:
The client is a large US-based company from the healthcare market. We are starting a multi-phase, 2 years project focusing on replacement of the clinical and data platform, replacing the current system. The work will be concentrated on delivering a flexible and configurable workflow solution. You will work in a mid-size team (20-40 people), predominantly based in Central Europe, with a client in the United States. This will be an exciting, greenfield project in a highly demanding but also rewarding environment of modern healthcare, based on cloud architectures, in data-driven and AI-enhanced environment
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer that can help us build a state-of-the-art data platform solution. The role requires understanding of data warehouse architectures, building data pipelines, understanding storing and managing data, ETL tools and reporting solutions. Your success depends on your ability to build a scalable and performant solution that combines business value, consistency, reliability, credibility and extendibility of a data solution as a ‘single source of truth’ for the whole organization.
You Perfectly Match If:
- You have 5+ years of proven experience in data engineering.
- You have experience building data warehouses, preferably with Azure technologies.
- You have proven experience with DataBricks
- You know how to create both normalized models and star schemas.
- You have multiple years of experience building data pipelines, including setting up and implementing CI/CD.
- You have experience with ETL tools, to populate databases from a wide variety of data sources.
- You know how to create monitoring and observability for data pipelines in production.
- You can effectively manage competing priorities and manage your own backlog of work.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with building warehouse architectures
- Experience building reports in a modern BI tool.
- Previous experience with US-based client
- Previous experience with healthcare industry
- Experience with high volume, high performance, high reliability system architectures
Day-to-day activities:
- Build and improve data-centric solution
- Implement data warehouse working closely with data providers and architects
- Create data pipelines and ETL transformations
- Monitor production pipelines for quality and reliability
