Senior Data Engineer( Azure) Lisboa

Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in building and maintaining data platforms, with expertise in Azure technologies and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and solutions
• Build data models and ensure platform reliability and efficiency
• Implement complex data flows and transformations in Databricks
• Apply best practices in Data Management & Governance (DAMA)
• Collaborate effectively across teams, providing input and sharing expertise

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong on experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Fabric, Azure Purview and Databricks
• Proficiency in Python and Py
  Spark scripting
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with My
  SQL
• Exposure to Data Lakehouse Architecture (DLA) and migration projects
• Background in data analysis and visualization
