As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for business intelligence solutions that are built based on our
- defined tool stack and
-
-
- art methodology. Your tasks cover requirement analysis, development and deployment of new as well as maintenance and operations of existing reporting solutions. Close collaboration with business departments, other IT teams and external partners is key to contribute to the efficient processing and analysis of valuable business information.

In your new role you will:

1. Take ownership of global reporting solutions
2. Define and align reporting requirements with the global user community (requirement engineering)
3. Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines from various source systems
4. Collaborate with business departments and IT colleagues
5. Implement reporting solutions and coordinate external service providers
6. Plan and execute release, test and rollout while ensuring high data quality
7. Be part of IT business intelligence projects

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study
2. 1-3 years of work experience as a Data Engineer in the area of Business Intelligence & Analytics
3. Profound knowledge of business intelligence and data management concepts
4. Experience with reporting tools (ideally SAP Business Objects or Tableau)
5. Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL (preferably Oracle and PL/SQL)
6. Basic understanding of data modeling techniques and ETL processes
7. Fluency in English
