What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for data analytics, identifying new opportunities, technologies, and approaches to enhance our data capabilities and drive business value.
• Design, develop, and optimize data products, data models, and pipelines that enable efficient data consumption across teams, enhancing business intelligence and analytics.
• Work with modern cloud‑based data architectures, including data Lakehouse, to ensure security, scalability, reliability, and cost‑effective data storage and processing.
• Leverage version control and CI/CD pipelines to streamline data development.
• Enable comprehensive data analysis in the PLM/Engineering domain and build the foundational data infrastructure crucial for advanced AI applications and strategic decision‑making.
• Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and performance.
• Mentor team members on technical best practices for data engineering and analytics while optimizing and managing data transformations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business teams, to translate business needs into efficient data solutions.
• Partner with the Data Hub Team to ensure development adheres to standards and utilizes the latest technologies, ensuring data quality, compliance, and security are in place at launch and maintained over time.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in data engineering and analytics.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in an Analytics Engineering role within dynamic, outcome‑driven organizations.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and designing ETL workflows.
• Expertise in Snowflake and in‑depth knowledge of modeling data with dbt.
• Experience with cloud‑based data architectures (preferably AWS and especially Lambda).
• Experience with structured Engineering Data (e. g. : Parts, BOMs) and their relationships – ideally based on Siemens PLM Software (Team
  Center, NX etc. ).
• Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining robust data architectures to support analytics and business intelligence.
• Proficiency in using tools for version control and managing CI/CD workflows, such as Git
  Hub or Git
  Lab.
• Leadership: Proven experience in mentoring technical teams and driving data initiatives.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, with strong English proficiency.
• Problem‑Solving: Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills.

• Experience in the manufacturing environment, e. g. knowledge of manufacturing processes, MES/MOM systems and the integration of machine and Io

• Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
