What you'll be doing:

1. Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines that ingest data from multiple sources with different technologies (My
   SQL, Big
   Query, Cloud Storage, CSV, FHIR, JSON, etc. );
2. Architect and maintain Sword’s complex data warehouse, managing various types of data;
3. Work with complex data architectures, such as Kappa and Lambda architectures, handling batch and streaming processes;
4. Work with
   - edge data technologies;
5. Collaborate closely with our Algorithms and AI teams to support their data and pipeline needs.

What you need to have:

1. Strong experience with Python programming;
2. Previous experience in Software Engineering is considered an asset;
3. High proficiency in SQL and data modeling;
4. Knowledge of other database types, like No
   SQL, is a plus;
5. Experience with cloud architectures such as GCP and AWS;
6. Experience with orchestration frameworks like Apache Airflow;
7. Proactivity and ability to propose technical and process improvements.

What we would love to see:

1. Knowledge of Data Governance;
2. Experience with Modern Data Stack tools such as DBT and Big
   Query;
3. Experience with Kafka Ecosystem, including Kafka, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, etc. ;
4. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines;
5. Ability to see the big picture and suggest data architecture improvements.
