Senior Data Engineer Lisboa

Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer for a challenging project!

What
- 'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Perform data transformations and advanced analytics using Databricks with Python.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and support daily operations.
• Contribute to technical documentation of data flows, architecture, and operational procedures.

What you will need to bring

• SQL (Advanced level)
• Azure Data Factory
• Databricks
• Python

Nice to Have / Optional Skills:

• Experience with Azure Dev
  Ops for CI/CD of data pipelines
• Familiarity with data modeling and database performance optimization
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices in cloud environments
• Functional knowledge of Finance, Asset Management, and Bank of Portugal regulatory reporting
