Senior Data Engineer

What You Will Do

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development and implementation of our data strategy. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with
- driven
- solving skills. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and platforms, mentoring junior engineers along the way. Your responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration solutions
• Managing data pipeline projects from inception to deployment, including scope, timelines, and risks
• Mentoring junior team members to meet business needs
• Ensuring data quality and integrity through testing and monitoring
• Leveraging cloud platforms (AWS preferred) to build scalable data solutions
• Collaborating with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Resolving complex data challenges
• Adhering to data engineering best practices and standards
• Staying updated with latest data technologies and trends

What We Expect Of You

Our ideal candidate:

• Has
  - on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and can architect
  - effective, scalable data solutions
• Proficient in Python, Py
  Spark, SQL, with experience in big data ETL performance tuning
• Strong analytical and
  - solving skills
• Effective communication skills in English for collaboration
• Experienced in data modeling and performance tuning for OLAP and OLTP databases
• Familiar with Apache Spark, Apache Airflow
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
• AWS Certified Data Engineer and Databricks Certification preferred
