About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and solutions to support our clients' diverse needs. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure
- performance, scalable, and reliable data integration across projects. Additionally, you will be involved in capacity planning, managing workloads for specific projects, and act as an escalation point for assigned projects to ensure the delivery of
- quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Team & Workload Management:
• Lead and manage a team of data engineers, overseeing project delivery, task prioritization, and performance to ensure
  - quality outputs. Including coaching team members to ensure continuous development.
• Plan and balance team workload and capacity, aligning resources with project timelines and organizational goals.
• Data Engineering Expertise :
• Design, implement, and maintain data integration pipelines using Python and Spark (e. g. , Py
  Spark ).
• Build data solutions to process data at scale, handling mainly batch processes (experience with
  - time pipelines as a plus).
• Research and implement modern industry best practices, ensuring adherence to high standards.
• Optimize data systems and processes to improve performance and scalability.
• Collaboration & Client Engagement :
• Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Act as a point of contact for escalations, conducting root cause analysis and ensuring timely resolution.
• Technical Support & Documentation :
• Provide technical support and guidance for internal teams and clients regarding the data platform.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines and workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience :
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong
  - on experience with Python , Spark , and MS Azure stack.
• Extensive Databricks knowledge (including Unity Catalog management, performance optimization and governance).
• Proven experience in managing
  - facing projects and handling escalations .
• Experience in consumer data / working with external data agencies is a plus.
• Skills :
• Strong
  - solving mindset and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Experience in workload management, capacity planning, and project delivery within deadlines.
• Deep understanding of ETL processes.
• Experience developing using AI / ML.
• Mindset :
• Passion for continuous learning and adopting new technologies.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Thrives in a creative and varied environment.
• Ready to occasionally travel for client and team meetings.
• English is our working language. Spanish and or French would be an advantage.
