Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Inetum Team and be part of a work culture focused on innovation!

Location: Lisbon

Main Tasks:

• Develop and optimize distributed data pipelines using Apache Spark , ensuring efficient processing of large datasets.
• Implement advanced caching techniques and optimize distributed computation workflows to improve data retrieval and resource utilization.
• Optimize partition key joins to accelerate query processing and enhance system performance.
• Perform SQL query optimization for better performance and scalability in
  - scale, distributed environments.
• Leverage the Cloudera ecosystem (when applicable) to manage and scale data workflows within big data platforms.

Profile:

• Expertise in Apache Spark and distributed computation techniques.
• Strong experience with SQL optimization and caching strategies.
• Knowledge of the Cloudera ecosystem is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, with initiative to solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and
  - technical teams.
• Team player – you will join a team of 5 developers and report directly to the Data Domain Manager.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
