We are recruiting a Senior Data Engineer to drive innovation and transformation in an international project! ?

Salary range: up to 43k gross per year

? Lisbon (you have to be based in Portugal)

Hybrid project

(1 day a week in the office)

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience using AWS
  - native services, namely Glue, S3 and Athena;
• Solid knowledge of distributed processing with Apache Spark, applying good performance and scalability practices;
• Proficiency in Scala and Python languages, with a focus on data processing and automation;
• Experience in creating reports and dashboards with Power BI;
• Fluency in English.

Differentials:

• Knowledge of continuous integration and code management tools, such as Bitbucket and Jenkins;
• Familiarity with the R language, especially for statistics and exploratory analysis;
• Experience with relational databases, particularly Postgre
  SQL (RDS);
• Notions or previous contact with Java, Angular or. NET in contexts of integration with data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines on AWS;
• Process large volumes of data with Spark;
• Create reports and dashboards in Power BI;
• Collaborate with development and business teams to translate needs into efficient data solutions;
• Contribute to the automation and optimization of data flows.
