We are looking for a Data Engineer for a hybrid project based in Porto or Lisbon(2x/week).

Requirements:

• At Least 2 years of experience with with Python and ETL processes.
• Professional experience with Python (Py
  Spark is nice to have).
• Strong understanding of data processing and data visualization concepts.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Solid knowledge and
  - on experience with programming languages.
• Deep understanding of the software development cycle.
• English good level is mandatory (min B2).

Main Tasks:

• Design and implement scalable data processing to handle large volumes of data efficiently and effectively.
• Optimize and
  - tune these pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with other data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to identify and define use cases, formulate hypotheses, and design solution.
• Design
  - performance data pipelines.
• Automate the
  -
  - end release of artifacts across environments.
• Conduct daily ETL job checks and take the necessary actions with production & functional support teams.
• Contribute to the integrity of the infrastructure setup (define priorities, efficiently create, track the progress of several issues).
