Job Title: Senior Data & Business Analyst

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (office 2x per week)

Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Data & Business Analyst for the energy sector, with strong expertise in business understanding, data collection, analysis, and reporting using Power BI. This person will work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Understanding the business domain and identifying key analytical needs;
• Gathering and documenting business requirements from multiple stakeholders;
• Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources;
• Developing insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI;
• Collaborating with Data Science and IT teams to ensure data quality and business relevance;
• Translating business problems into
  - driven solutions;
• Ensuring agile methodologies (SCRUM) are followed in project execution;
• Presenting findings and recommendationso both technical and
  - technical audiences.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years in business analysis, with a focus on
  - driven
  - making;
• Python Knowledge;
• Data Science Knowledge: Ability to understand and apply data science concepts (e. g. , predictive modeling, statistical analysis, machine learning is a plus);
• Power BI Expertise: Proven experience in building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, including DAX and data modeling;
• Data Collection & Processing: Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes;
• SQL Knowledge: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis;
• SCRUM Methodology: Experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken; Spanish language is valued;
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
