Senior Data Scientist – Operations Research | Lisbon (Hybrid)
Workster is partnering with a global leader in mobility solutions to find a Senior Data Scientist – Operations Research to join their dynamic team in Lisbon.

machine learning and mathematical modeling, this opportunity is for you!
Your Role
- Revenue Management & Price Optimization:
Design and deploy advanced dynamic pricing and bid price optimization systems. - Operations Research Modeling:
Solve complex linear, nonlinear, and stochastic optimization problems. - Forecasting & Demand Modeling:
Use time series and ML techniques to predict customer demand and willingness to pay. - Algorithm Development:
Build scalable algorithms and ensure seamless integration with production environments. - Collaboration:
Work
- functionally with product managers, engineers, and data teams. - Thought Leadership:
Stay ahead of trends, share insights, and mentor junior data scientists.
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data science/operations research (ideally in travel, airline, or car rental industries).
- Strong background in revenue management and pricing systems.
- Expertise in mathematical optimization and solvers.
- Skilled in demand forecasting and
- based ML. - Advanced Python programming and version control experience.
- Analytical thinker with strong business translation skills.
- Master's degree (or higher) in OR, Applied Math, or related field (preferred).
