Workster is partnering with a global leader in mobility solutions to find a Senior Data Scientist – Operations Research to join their dynamic team in Lisbon. If you’re passionate about optimizing pricing strategies and enjoy solving complex problems usingmachine learning and mathematical modeling, this opportunity is for you!Your Role
Revenue Management & Price Optimization : Design and deploy advanced dynamic pricing and bid price optimization systems. Operations Research Modeling : Solve complex linear, nonlinear, and stochastic optimization problems. Forecasting & Demand Modeling : Use time series and ML techniques to predict customer demand and willingness to pay. Algorithm Development : Build scalable algorithms and ensure seamless integration with production environments. Collaboration : Work
- functionally with product managers, engineers, and data teams. Thought Leadership : Stay ahead of trends, share insights, and mentor junior data scientists. Your Qualifications5+ years of experience in data science/operations research (ideally in travel, airline, or car rental industries). Strong background in revenue management and pricing systems. Expertise in mathematical optimization and solvers. Skilled in demand forecasting and
- based ML. Advanced Python programming and version control experience. Analytical thinker with strong business translation skills. Master's degree (or higher) in OR, Applied Math, or related field (preferred). The Offer
