About the role

Help shape next‑generation pricing strategies using cutting‑edge price elasticity modeling, bid price optimization, and advanced machine learning to drive revenue management processes for millions of customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced revenue management systems focused on dynamic pricing and bid price optimization.
• Formulate and solve complex optimization problems (linear, nonlinear, dynamic, stochastic) to maximize revenue and support key decision‑making processes.
• Create and refine forecasting models using time series and machine learning methods to capture customer demand and willingness‑to‑pay.
• Build and maintain robust algorithms that integrate seamlessly with production systems, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, and software developers to deploy end‑to‑end solutions and continuously improve analytical models.
• Stay current on the latest research in revenue management, operations research, and machine learning; provide mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data science and operations research experience, ideally in car rental, airlines, or travel/hospitality sectors.
• Proven track record of implementing or optimizing revenue management systems and pricing strategies.
• Strong background in mathematical optimization (linear, nonlinear, integer programming) and algorithm design (dynamic/stochastic programming).
• Proficient in demand forecasting, time series modeling, and modern machine learning techniques (especially regression).
• Python expertise for data analysis, modeling, and production deployment; familiarity with Git.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate complex business problems into actionable analytical tasks and communicate findings clearly to various audiences.
• Practical experience designing or implementing bid price models in large‑scale revenue management systems (preferred).
• Master’s degree or higher in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (preferred).
