Senior Data Scientist Operations Research | Lisbon (Hybrid) Lisboa

Our client, a global leader in mobility, is looking for a Senior Data Scientist – Operations Research to join their team in Lisbon.

Tasks

Design and implement advanced Revenue Management systems, focusing on dynamic pricing and bid price optimization.

Formulate and solve complex optimization problems (linear, nonlinear, dynamic, stochastic).

Build demand forecasting and
-
- pay models using time series and ML techniques.

Develop and maintain robust, scalable algorithms integrated into production systems.

Collaborate closely with
- functional teams (engineering, product, software).

Provide mentorship and stay updated with the latest research in revenue management, operations research, and AI.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in Data Science / Operations Research, ideally in car rental, airline, or hospitality industries.

Proven track record in Revenue Management and pricing strategies.

Strong expertise in mathematical optimization (linear, nonlinear, integer programming, stochastic).

Proficiency in Python and version control systems (e. g. , Git).

Solid background in forecasting, time series modeling, and applied ML.

Master’s degree (or higher) in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (preferred).
