Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights from large, diverse data sets;
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand data and analytics needs, translating them into effective data science solutions;
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, supporting their technical growth and career development;
• Stay updated with latest trends in data science, machine learning, and AI, recommending innovative approaches;
• Communicate complex technical concepts to
  - technical stakeholders effectively;
• Ensure data integrity, model accuracy, and quality of deliverables;
• Contribute to the development of data science infrastructure and tools.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Power
  BI, or Tableau;
• Strong understanding of design principles and translating requirements into technical specifications;
• At least 5 years of
  - on experience as a data scientist or similar role in
  - paced, multinational environments;
• Experience leading and mentoring data science teams;
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Scala, and working with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka);
• Strong
  - management and
  - solving skills;
• Knowledge of data management (ETL) and Snowflake is preferred;
• Experience with agile methodologies;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
• Fluency in English is mandatory;
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa/Residency;
• Availability to work
  - office once a week.
