Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights from large, diverse datasets.
2. Collaborate with business leaders to understand data and analytics needs, translating them into effective data science solutions.
3. Mentor and guide junior data scientists, supporting their technical and career development.
4. Stay updated with trends in data science, machine learning, and AI, and recommend innovative solutions.
5. Communicate complex technical concepts to
   - technical stakeholders effectively.
6. Ensure data integrity, model accuracy, and quality of data science deliverables.
7. Contribute to the development of data science infrastructure and tools.

Minimum Requirements

1. Proficiency with Data Visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Power
   BI, or Tableau.
2. Strong understanding of design principles and translating requirements into technical specifications.
3. At least 5 years of
   - on experience as a data scientist or in similar roles, preferably in dynamic, multinational environments.
4. Experience leading and mentoring teams.
5. Programming skills in Python, R, or Scala, with experience in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
6. Strong
   - management and
   - solving skills.
7. Knowledge of data management (ETL) and Snowflake is preferred.
8. Experience with agile methodologies.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. Fluency in English.
11. European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Work Visa/Residency.
12. Availability to work
    - office once a week.
